My house was badly flooded after exceptional heavy rainfall. I contacted John at A1 Claims Assessors the morning after and he called to the house the same day. We were in chaos and did not know where to start. John took control of the situation and contacted my insurance company to arrange an appointment with their adjuster. John came out with the adjuster to inspect the damage and got an interim payment from the insurance company to help us with the initial clean up. John dealt directly with the insurance company on our behalf throughout the whole process and that in itself relieved us of a considerable amount of stress. It took us over 6 weeks to get the house back to normal and during that time John was available to answer any queries we had. He made regular site visits and helped us get everything sorted in time for Christmas.

Following a fire in my home I engaged John Collier from A1 Claims as my assessor. John was extremely courteous, he always returned phone calls, always answered e-mails. If he said he would meet you at a certain time, he would be there at that exact time. He liaised with the insurance company, the builders, Management Company and neighbours throughout the entire reconstruction process. The building contractors remarked to me many times how professional he was to deal with, he knew his job.

Our family suffered a tragic loss. A house fire claimed the life of our mother. Our broker promptly appointed John Collier to act on our behalf. John was on site within a few hours and liaised with the loss adjuster appointed by our insurer. This was the level of service afforded throuhout the year long process involved in knocking the house, rebuilding and refurnishing it. Indeed if it was not for John's expertise the house may not have been knocked as the walls appeared in good structural condition. However following detailed inspections of the walls all agreed that they had to be knocked.
